Anna Long-Slade's inspiration to become an OT was her little brother, Daniel. His love for people and persistence when
it comes to the challenges he faces due to having Down Syndrome are attributes to aspire towards. Alongside Anna's passion
for helping people reach their maximum potential in their everyday function she also developed her skills as a ballet dancer
and teacher. She loves to incorporate her skills and knowledge as a dancer into therapy sessions, both with children and
older adults, when appropriate.
She has worked with children through older adults as an Occupational Therapist since 2006. Her Master's of Occupational Therapy
was awarded from Washington University in St. Louis where she gained both clinical and research experience. Her expertise
within OT is Adaptive Equipment consultations.
